CAL Pools is super on customer service. When we have a question on how to operate our pool filter, or getting that light fixture back on etc. you send an email and they get back to you with tips, saving on setting up unnecessary service calls. I told my husband -lets shoot them an email and see if they have an answer and they always do! Thank you Cari@calpoools.

This has been a wonderful experience from sitting down with Joe during the designing process he made sure to hear what our needs were and gave some great ideas as well, we really felt as if it was our design to meet our needs. Then it got better from there meeting Ron and communicating with Myra during the construction process they awesome they were very open to letting us know each and every step that was to come. They made us feel as if we were their only customers and we never had to hunt or chase a response down as if they were waiting on us. The quality of the work was above our expectations and that was even coming in under the timeline that was agreed upon. If I was to ever need a pool built or know someone looking to build California Pools would be the place of my choice. They turned my back yard into a resort. You could not be in better hands that with California Pools & Landscape. Specifically Bianca Leal, Service Coordinator at 4350 W Chandler Blvd Ste #1Chandler, AZ , 85226. Whenever I need help either diagnosing a problem I was having with my Spool or needed to schedule a repair, her response was in a manner of minutes. Best of all if the solution was something I could handle myself, she walked me through what I needed to do. She is professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous always offering kind words.

We had CA Pools remodel our pool several years ago, along with the remodel we had a fire pit installed. We ended up having a gas leak in the fire pit long after the warranty on the remodel had expired. We tried to get several companies to come out and repair the fire pit but no one would touch a gas leak. We called CA Pool in attempt to at least get a referral for the repair. They came out evaluated the problem, and let us know what the cost should have been to repair it. Our cost ended up being $0, they stand behind the work they do and when it's not up to their standards they do the repair even though it had been years since it was built. I would not hesitate to use them in the future for any work you need done on your pool or yard. Emma and Noah were wonderful to work with, Emma always called and let us know when Noah would be out. Noah was always on time and let us know exactly what was going on and Emma followed up Noah's visit with a call and more information. CA Pools does great work and when something goes wrong they fix it even if the warranty has been expired for years. Thank you for standing behind the work you do, it was a pleasure to work with both of you!

We just opened our new pool this past week and we love it. We collected quotes from 5 different pool builders before deciding on California Pools. Pricing was, for the most part, consistent across all of the builders. It was the communication and customer service that made choosing California Pools the right decision. Although we had a change in project manager after we had initially completed our design, the new project manager got up to speed on our project quickly. Lori M. was very helpful as we selected the various materials and finishes for our pool project, to ensure that they complemented each other for a beautifully finished backyard retreat. Sarese F., our scheduling coordinator, was fantastic at communicating exactly what to expect during each stage of the construction. And Pete B., our construction manager, kept us informed on-site throughout the entire construction phase, offering useful insight and suggestions for decisions that had to be made after the construction had begun. Overall, it has been a great experience with California Pools and we're very excited to enjoy our first summer cooling off in our new pool!

Leann was our scheduler and very easy to work with even though I gave her a few problems. Very calm and very understanding. Darian and Hunter were our construction managers and both of them were very approachable and very easy to work with. I recommend all three of them very highly. Hunter I could bug on weekends and he would respond immediately. Thanks guys for an excellent job well done.

We just had our pool, deck and fireplace remodeled by California Pools and Landscape. In terms of communicating expectations, sticking to schedule, and resolving issues, this has been the best remodel experience we've had so far. The pool, fireplace and deck look great! We really appreciated the schedule updates and communication that Sara Dougan provided - she kept us informed regarding what to expect, kept us abreast of changes and was responsive to the issues that popped up along the way. Ron Arden was our Project Manager - he was candid in his communication through the whole project and provided great support in making sure the project turned out like we expected. We would hire them again, which is the best recommendation we can give.

It was such an amazing experience working with California Pools! When we started looking at companies to build our pool and complete our backyard landscaping, we initially were leaning towards a different builder, however, after meeting and working with Travis Patterson on our initial build-out and estimate, we immediately changed our minds. Travis was very knowledgeable, personable, and so helpful in designing our dream yard while keeping everything within our budget. Even after the initial meeting with him, when we decided to make some changes, he was extremely quick with replying and making the changes for us and answering any questions we had. Without Travis, we could say we would probably would not have went with California Pools. Sara Dougan was our Scheduling Manager and we were so lucky to have her on our project. She kept in touch and kept us updated on all of the on-going almost everyday and was even able to bump up some of the dates on the project to move up the completion date. She was so helpful in relaying information to us about what we needed to do at what phase and also quickly addressed any issues that arose during project. Sara kept our minds at ease and made sure we were in the know every step of the way. Jeremiah Price, our construction manager, was also very diligent and made sure that everything was done correctly and up to the high standards of California Pools. He even came back to double-check that a cracked piece of travertine (that we didn't even notice) was replaced during the final inspection. When we weren't sure of what all to look for during our inspections, Jeremiah was there and went above and beyond to make sure we were covered. I could not say more amazing things about California Pools and how happy we are with our pool and entire backyard. They really made our dream yard come true. We will definitely be recommending to all of our family and friends and will use them for any future projects that we have!

Just wanted to give feedback for other folks looking for a pool and landscape company, and to publicly thank the folks at CP&L. In addition to the beautifully designed pool and landscaping they installed, they exuded expertise, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make us happy, educate us, and keep us informed. We made changes along the way, and each time they were eager to discuss and help us determine the best path. Our designer Chris S. took our input, provided expert insight with respect to pool, plants, and landscape design and really delivered a beautiful, well thought out design. Our Construction/Project Manger Pete B was perfect in every way. He was meticulous in ensuring everything was done right, made himself available at all times, met with us on short notice several times, and went above and beyond to keep us happy. Myra would send us emails on a regular basis keeping us informed of the schedule, what to expect, updates on our change requests, and always returned our emails in a day or less. Lastly, our landscape expert Luis E. was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through how to care for everything and offered to come back out anytime to assist us with any problems, answer questions, or refresh us on how to care for everything. So yeah, thanks much guys. Hope this review helps pair great people with a great pool company.

When we first selected California Pools, we were extremely happy with the service and attention to detail. The end product was perfect! We recently had a need to engage with California Pool for some work that is within warranty and a item outside of warranty. And they immediately stepped up and sent out technicians and the communication was very consistent as they kept me informed throughout. From start to finish, California pools stepped up and delivered. We sincerely appreciate the support from the team, especially Leslie and Cari for their terrific coordination!!

They communicate well

We decided to fix and update our pool, decking, and water feature. We are so happy that we chose California Pools & Landscape for our project. Everything was done in a very timely manner. Actually, the project was completed well before the timeline they gave us. Each phase of the project was completed as promised. Our project manager, Kevin, was great to work with. Stephanie scheduled each phase of the project and kept us appraised of the timing and who would be out each day. What a joy to work with a company that does what they say they will do, faster than they said possible. We highly recommend California Pools & Landscape!!

Our pool remodel went very smoothly thanks to everyone at California Pools. From Les, who was our Project Manager to Rick our Construction Manager and Sara our Scheduling Manager-we always knew what to expect. Les explained the entire process to us. Rick was always available to check on how things were progressing and answer any questions. Sara was great-always available and keeping us updated on when different crews were coming out. California Pools is great at keeping the client in the loop of what's going on. We are so happy with how our pool remodel has turned out. They did a terrific job. California Pools was recommended to us by a family member and we would definitely recommend California Pools to any of our friends or family.

The entire team at CPL was absolutely amazing to work with! We knew from our first meeting with Marc Olsen in sales, that there was no need to look elsewhere for our backyard project. We went in with a rough idea of what we wanted, and Marc helped us put those ideas into a plan that we knew we would love. His experience and expertise in designing the pool and backyard were invaluable. He was always available when we called/texted/emailed and we never felt like we were "just another client". We like to be pretty involved in the process and are kind of control freaks, and everyone at CPL every step of the way had great communication and follow up! From Marc, we were passed onto Teresa Gordon - our construction scheduler. She was AMAZING!! The crews showed up when she said they would and they did everything on time. There was never a time that we wondered if the project would get done, or if we could trust them. We have worked with contractors in the past, and it's always stressful and there is never good communication. We were so thrilled to watch the project take shape and to know that we had a whole team working on our side every step of the way. We started off with one Project Manager, then shortly after we were moved to work with Matt White. He is the best! Matt came by often to check on how things were going, answer our questions, make recommendations, and ensure everything was running smoothly. He truly cared about the quality of work and made us feel like our project was his priority. Luis Encinas and his landscape crew did a super job! We did rock, sod, trees and bushes. Nothing too crazy, but they made everything look amazing and worked fast! They got us set up for our irrigation system and taught us how to use the timer, etc. Finally, Todd Stewart did our orientation. He taught us how to take care of the pool. We've never had salt water before and had no idea what to do! He walked us through the setup, when to run the pump, how to clean it, test the water, etc. A couple fo days later he came back to give us a salt cell stand for when we clean it. The crews for each step always left the area clean and neat. They were respectful of our property and did a great job! Everyone on the CPL team offered their phone numbers and emails and assured us that we could call or email them anytime for any questions - and we did, and probably still will as we get used to our new backyard and taking care of everything. Their passion for what they do and the customer service they provide was apparent every step of the way. We are so happy that we went with CPL, we refer them to everyone we speak to!

TOP NOTCH IN EVERY WAY My HAYWARD POOL PUMP failed out-of-warranty and CALPOOL assisted in getting it replaced by HAYWARD and then installed the PUMP at-no-cost; even though they were under no obligation to do so. Leslie was incredibly helpful and had the replacement pump installed the day after the PUMP arrived at my residence from Hayward. I recommend CALPOOL without reservation. Rick D. Back in August 2020, I contacted 3 different pool building companies: Shasta, Presidential and CPL. Shasta never answered my phone calls or emails (until I posted a negative review) , Presidential's waiting time was ridiculous and CPL was great. I got a phone call an hour later after my fiest email inquiry and got a ton of information the same day from three different people in different departments. When their Project Manager/designer, Cody, visited us, he was very professional and answered all of our questions. What I appreciate the most was the honesty (he didn't over-sell the company nor promised something he knew wouldn't happen). For example, he warned us that due to covid, projects were delayed etc (which it did, took about 5 months for the pool completion and a month or so to finish something else).He was also great during our visit to their showroom in Chandler. Construction manager, Dustin, and supervisor, Miguel, were fantastic. Very flexible, answered every question and really looked out for quality work from their contractors. We had very few challenges and CPL's team worked with me to make sure my satisfaction was still high. Overall communication was also excellent through Valerie W. They provide you a login to a mobile project mgmt app where you can communicate with them. The entire experience has been great. I could not recommend them enough!

I am thrilled not only with the beautiful end result of my pool/spa but also in the very professional and helpful people I dealt with - especially Shawn Lach and Marcee Walker. The job took longer than expected but was completed with the utmost integrity. California Pools is proud of their product and stands behind their work. It is rare to find a company so willing to assure that the customer is satisfied. I recommend them highly.

We had California Pools design and build our pool after interviewing and getting estimates from 4 other pool companies. Our construction manager, Jordan Thrasher was so helpful and always available for our questions. If he didn't have the answer, he got back to us when he did. The app is very helpful also. It helped keep us informed as to the status and timeline of our project. Marissa Puzz, Stephanie Gonzales, Chris Kelley and Rob Swanson were very helpful via the app. Gabe did the walk through on completion and has been a great source for information how to now run our beautiful pool! We recently retired to Arizona and this is our 1st experience building a pool. I cannot say the whole experience was without a few bumps but California Pools resolved every problem with speed and friendliness. I would highly recommend California Pools and Landscape!! (and I am a tough customer to please).

I rarely (never) write reviews but given our experience with the California Pools team, I felt it was important for those considering a pool / landscaping company. My Wife and I researched several pool and landscape companies for our newly built home and CA Pools and Landscape impressed us from the beginning. Steve R's thoughtful design helped us capture the look and feel we were looking for and his expertise and attention to detail was something we didn't see from others (not even close). He was patient, answered all of our questions, was never "pushy" and made our initial encounter very pleasant. Although we had built 3 prior pools, he was also very helpful in educating us on the latest equipment, codes, etc. Once the project was set to begin, Sarese (Scheduling Manager), was amazing; keeping us on schedule, arranging each of the trades with very little down time and provided details on each step in the process by giving us regular updates on the project. She responded to most every inquiry often within the hour or even minutes! From there, Duane (Construction Manager), did and excellent job overseeing the project and always made himself available for questions and / or to meet (at our convenience) to go over things. Like any major project, we had a lot of questions and a few minor corrections but Duane and Sarese's attention AND follow up was always outstanding. In fact, Duane identified a couple of things that I wouldn't have noticed but he felt it was important to complete things according to the plan.... sadly this is, something that you don't often find these days. I could go on but in a nutshell, everyone in the organization delivered what they said they would (and more) and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job and the Company they work for. We recently moved and wanted to add a pool and redo the landscaping in our backyard. After searching around, we decided to go with California Pools & Landscape because they could give us everything we were looking for. Tim did a great job designing the yard/pool and took the time to understand our concerns. There were a few hiccups with permitting and communications in the beginning, but we are very happy with the end result. Matt, our construction contractor, was very easy to work with and every crew (electrical, plumbing, steel, shotcrete, pavers...etc) that came out worked tirelessly and did an amazing job. Sarese, our scheduler, was a joy to work with. When we had questions about when we could expect things to happen, she would have an answer, or get back to us with an answer, in a prompt manner. Finally, the landscape crew, led by Nathan, was fantastic. What we originally expected to take close to two weeks ended up taking one week. Juan and his guys worked incredibly hard, in extreme heat. They went above and beyond to make sure the grading of our yard was right. Also, they took care to place close to 15 boulders, leftover from the previous yard, around the new yard to enhance the new landscape design. All in all, we are very happy with our new pool and yard and would recommend California Pools & Landscape.

I had a very good experience working with Cliff Fox during the design phase and everyone that followed after. He was very helpful in the design phase and had good ideas with many years of knowledge. I got my pool installed close to 5 years ago and still love the way it turned out. I recently had an issue with my pump not turning on and called Cliff. Even though it was out of warranty they still sent a tech. out for free to repair in only a few days. Leslie Gallegos the service coordinator helped me out with that and I have no complaints.

Exceptional staff.

Had estimates from other local pool companies and California Pools beat them by a landslide. I would never hire a contractor or anyone for that matter based on price alone but with everything California Pools did, they far exceeded my expectations. From design, to materials used, and finally the build quality and final product, my backyard is exactly what I wanted and more. The pool and landscape is amazing, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be calling them in the future when I'm ready for some upgrades. Thanks again for the amazing backyard!
