Just wanted to take a moment to say how happy we are with our new pool from California Pools. From the initial design to the final completion, every inch of the way was professional. In the beginning we had very minor struggle with communication being to our standards, but once we voiced how we would like to be communicated with, the struggle was non-existent. Any unforeseen complications were handled without any cause for delay and thus the pool is outstanding. From dig to fill only took 3 months, which was a plus. Once again...Thanks!

California Pools built and entirely custom pool, deck and gazebo for us for our vacation property in Arizona. Building a pool remotely is challenging but they provided good updates and made the process enjoyable. We had some challenges with the pool after year one but when we contacted the owner they engaged an amazing support team that provided a detailed and through repair inspection and part replacement process to solve the problems. Gabe and Jessie were both outstanding and went above and beyond to solve the problems immediately with detailed communications. They stood behind their products and did not charge us for any repairs regardless of warranty policies. We would definitely recommend them to anyone and would ONLY use them to build another pool!! Damian Klymko guided my wife's vision in creating our pool design and backyard. Damian was straight forward and did not create any promises that he could not keep. He provided my wife with many design and material options, something that was not provided with another quote from another big pool builder in Queen Creek. Matt White led the construction and landscaping teams into creating our backyard into our vision. Matt communicated the processes to us and answered all questions with clarity and honesty. We had a couple of weather related delays and it was always communicated to us. This was a great team to work with. This is the company you should talk with when you want to create your pool.

We had just built a new house and went looking for the best pool builder. We narrowed it down to 4 companies and finally decided on California Pools. I am glad we did. Stephen R. did such a fine job at showing us why California Pools has the best quality pool far above the rest. He was informative and explained every aspect of our custom design. They were able to start the construction while we were out of the country and kept us informed via email for the first excavation phase. Sara D. was our scheduling manager and was outstanding in her communication with me every step of the way. Two thumbs up for Sara and her ability to schedule all the crews and keep us informed as to what to expect along the way. Sara's daily updates were key to keeping the construction on schedule and she made sure that I knew what my responsibilities were so that we didn't get blind sighted and hold up any aspect of construction. It all went down like clockwork. Thanks Sara! Duane was our Construction Manager and made sure that we were satisfied with all the construction including the Travertine decking, suggesting that we trade out a few of the travertine tile for ones that looked better. Yes I would recommend California Pools for your pool company, they did an excellent job. Thanks Guys.

We now have a beautiful backyard after the completion of our pool and landscaping by California Pools and Landscape. Even during COVID, the project moved along well. The subcontractors at all stages were courteous, proficient and neat. Jordan Thrasher did a fine job as our project manager. A very special and enthusiastic shout-out goes to our scheduling manager Valerie Watson. She did an excellent job scheduling the various phases of the project and keeping us informed at all times. She was very quick to answer any concerns we had, and was unfailingly courteous and kind. California Pools is VERY lucky to have her. California Pools isn't the cheapest but as they say "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." Just go with them. You can thank me later.

We are in the midst of our pool remodel with CA pools, so will give an update upon finishing, but I am so impressed so far I want to give a review. My husband & I own a home remodeling company, so we can more easily recognize and pick out a good and well-run company. I was impressed with how well they have developed their procedures for customer care and their systems and follow up. They are responsive to communications, with a very caring/no pressure sales that laid out options and guided us with selections. It's obvious they are continually improving, that they have good onboarding and training of their staff. Our salesperson continues to check in and respond to questions even after the contract has been signed which is above and beyond to make sure we are having a good experience. They were very careful to check out our pool, for we suspected it was leaking, and they showed us where the problems are. Even though our pool was originally installed around 1980, I believe it will be just as good as new. Stay tuned!

We had a very good experience with California pools. Our pool was done in the time frame we needed. Sean our site manager was amazing and was here every day or every couple once construction started. He was amazingly detailed oriented and if there was anything he felt was not perfect he immediately had the team back to correct it. Rebecca out scheduler sent us daily updates throughout the whole process and that was so appreciated. We did not have to make numerous calls to be updated. This is the second pool we have used them for and would use them again.

We are just finishing a complete pool and landscaping project at a new home that was completed in October. Obviously with the pandemic, global supply shortages and AZ labor challenges, this was a difficult time for a project like this. But we had a March deadline both personally and financially and we are thrilled to have achieved it. We have been impressed with California Pools & Landscaping crews throughout the project with their attention to detail and overall quality work. And we are especially grateful to have had Bethany Howell as our Scheduling Manager for most of the project. In this difficult environment Bethany kept us informed, was always honest with what was occurring with the project and we felt was always looking out for our best interests. Thanks Bethany and Cal Pools, we can't wait for our Grandchildren to enjoy our backyard resort later this month.

This has been a wonderful experience from sitting down with Joe during the designing process he made sure to hear what our needs were and gave some great ideas as well, we really felt as if it was our design to meet our needs. Then it got better from there meeting Ron and communicating with Myra during the construction process they awesome they were very open to letting us know each and every step that was to come. They made us feel as if we were their only customers and we never had to hunt or chase a response down as if they were waiting on us. The quality of the work was above our expectations and that was even coming in under the timeline that was agreed upon. If I was to ever need a pool built or know someone looking to build California Pools would be the place of my choice. They turned my back yard into a resort. We just completed our pool and landscape!! What an amazing experience! Ron Arden, our Construction Manager went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of to my satisfaction. His communication was outstanding and the end product is exactly what I hoped for. Marcee Walker, our Scheduling coordinator was always available and extremely helpful in keeping the project on track. Both Ron and Marcee displayed grace under pressure and a can do attitude that made this experience an A+. I would highly recommend!

We were recommended to this company from a previous customer Bobbie and Susan Popper. From the moment we meant Matt Sauer his professionalism and design ideas around our existing pool, were spot on. He additionally went over and above with helping us with recommending a Solar Panel company for our home. He advised and helped with the color and materials selection for the fire pit, barbecue and pavers. Always quick to respond and answer our questions and concerns. The three masonry gentlemen we were very pleased with their workmanship, attention to detail and how thorough they all were. At the end of every day all the contractors cleaned up very well and were very respectful. Communication with Sara Dougan and Dustin were always accurate. If I had a question or concern with billing statement or scheduling questions they were quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this company to our friends and family.

The Cal Pool team was awesome to work with and made a long standing dream come true. We couldn't be happier with how they guided us through the process to transform our backyard into a true oasis that amazes us each time we go outside. We've never been through this type of project but Dave C made the entire design process fun and easy to understand, Nathan R was provided fantastic oversight of the build process, and Ciarra T was there every step of the way to help answer questions about billing, change orders, and other administrative details. And the Cal Pool app was a slick way of allowing us to know all milestones that had been completed, that were scheduled to be complete, and to help detail all of the actions that occur throughout this process. Also important to note that all of the Cal Pool subcontractors were amazing and courteous. And we couldn't be happier with the finished product!

After getting quotes from 4 different pool companies, we decided to give California Pools our business. The pricing was competitive and comparable to the others, but what set them apart was their enthusiasm to win our business. Matt was our designer, and he wasted no time coming directly to our home, sitting down with us and designing a great pool that fit both our vision and our budget. We're first time pool owners, and he was patient and answered all of the questions we had and made us feel at ease. Anytime we had a question or were having second thoughts about a design feature, Matt was quick to respond and work through the issue. Once we broke ground on the construction, our point of contact was Valerie. Unsurprisingly, she was incredible as well. She kept in constant contact throughout and was readily available to answer any questions we had. She kept us updated on the different phases of construction and time frames, and seemingly moved heaven and earth to ensure that our project was completed on time. There was a small hiccup near the end at the final city inspection. We let Valerie know what the city inspector told us to fix, and within the hour she was making phone calls and making things happen. 3 days later, everything was resolved and we were right back on track. Valerie is amazing! Our construction manager Dustin was on-site weekly, making sure everything was going to plan. He never hesitated to ask us how we felt the construction was going or if we had any questions. And we ended up never having any questions or concerns because Dustin was so good at his job! The construction phase couldn't have gone any smoother. Overall, we have zero regrets going with California Pools. Our pool looks exactly as we envisioned. You can tell it was made with quality in mind. That says a lot, given that pools are a hot commodity these days and builders are rushing through as many projects as possible. CPL takes their time and I highly recommend them. Thanks for giving our backyard new life! My family and I will enjoy it for years to come.

Always very professional and thorough. We worked with Kathy and Ryan this past time and they were able to get us scheduled and fix the issue our current pool company created for us. The consultation and design by Damian K was impressive and transparent to a point that we signed our contract for the full services of California Pool & Landscape. Stay informed within the CPL Portal, communicate with your scheduling team as well as your site supervisor, but be patient and trust that the wait is worth the reward.

Our new Belgard "Silverado" paver patio is STUNNING! From start to finish California Pools & Landscaping exceeded our expectations. They were quick to return our calls and arrived to our appointments on time. Our contractor was able to provide us with his experience and knowledge making the decision to work with California Pools & Landscaping the only option for us. The hardest part was choosing from the multiple products and color options available. California Pools & Landscaping took care of all the details, they leveled the yard, had drainage put in the right areas and when we made a layout adjustment the day of install they didn't blink an eye and took the extra time to get others to the house immediately so it could be done the same day. We had a great experience with California Pools. Although we have a fairly small yard, but with great views of Four Peaks, the small ‘cocktail pool’ with drop in Sedona Spa in the corner fits the bill perfectly. Our experience was great from the start with Mike Lillis (sales), Marissa Puzz (construction coordinator) and Darrin Castillo (construction supervisor). We have a small issue with our light and Darrin is on on top of it - working with warranty to replace. Overall, a great experience and we appreciate working with great people.
