New Year, New Yard!

So glad we chose California Pools and Landscaping! Nadine was a great coordinator through the finish and Eric was on hand often ensuring the trades completed the project to CPL high standards and attentive to our needs and questions. We were always aware of each stage along the way and the finished product was just as we expected. And now we are enjoying our new back yard! Just wanted to say thank you CPL!

The first step of having it designed is fun and Jacob really makes the experience easy and keeps tabs on you during the entire process. My CM Jason went above and beyond. He checked on the project at every step of the way. If I had a question, he was there to answer it. He was on sight after every job was completed. He double checked the work and made sure I understood the entire process .Sara is also there to guide you And answer all of your questions. She is quick to respond on the app or over the phone. She explains the final steps which are the most exciting process. She is kind and very good at her job. The customer service experience with California Pools makes the entire process worth it. Not to mention the quality and beautiful pool I now have. It is everything I had imagined and more.Thank you California Pools!

We are very happy with Cal Pools, their employees, Matt Sauer, Nathan, Vianna Lopez and Daniel, went above and beyond, making our backyard and front yard a paradise.

How do you put a price on having awesome family BBQ's in your back yard? How much thought do you put into creating a back yard where your kids can play? With a new baby on the way these were the questions my wife and I were asking ourselves when we were choosing our landscaping company. Even more importantly, we needed to work with a company that would be understanding of the baby's sleep and feeding schedule. I couldn't wait to get started with California Pools and Landscape because of how great they treated us when we were thinking about buying a pool and, true to form, they treated us great on our back yard. Our back yard is not particularly big but they made us feel like we were the only customers they had. My wife had a few "must haves" they were able to make happen with no problem. The people in their new office were just as nice and helpful as always. They completed the job right on time and our baby boy did not miss a nap or a meal! I'd highly recommend California Pools and Landscape and if anyone is ever interested in seeing their work feel free to stop by, we're really proud of our new yard and will probably be BBQing!

We told Scott what we wanted then he recommended and he was not pushy at all. We had couples pool companies to choose but we went with CalPool because of the warranty they offer. We had a backyard landscaping project done and California Pools & Landscape knocked it out of the park. All details were handled from permits to notifying my HOA. Gas, electrical, hardscape, softscape, turf and a Alumashade were done in a timely manner. Communication of what steps and when they were being accomplished where given in detail. I could not be happier with the end result.

We were very impressed with the California Pools team and process during the design and construction phase of our pool/spa/hardscapes project 3 years ago. I must say we have been just as impressed, if not more so, with their warranty support and customer service in the 3 years following construction. It is inevitable that issues will arise after construction with any pool builder; equipment fails, construction defects present themselves, site-specific conditions lead to unforeseen issues. What is important (and rare) is finding a builder that stands behind their work, provides a solid warranty, and makes the warranty/service process a less frustrating experience for the customer. California Pools has absolutely stood behind their work, honored their warranty, and has even gone above and beyond my (admittedly high) expectations for quick, professional, and polite communication and service. I rarely leave reviews, and people in general seem much more likely to take the time to leave scathing negative reviews when they're upset than to take the time to leave glowing positive reviews when their satisfied. As such, I felt compelled to share my positive experience.

This is my second pool and yard designed and built by California Pools and Landscape. I started out in the design with Cody Risdon, who then left the company. Cody did most of my design, but Doug Lillis refined it and helped finalize it. Both designers were fantastic and drew out exactly what I had in my mind.My construction manager was Jordan Thrasher, whom I worked with on my first pool. Jordan was very busy but always responded very promptly when I had a question or needed reassurance that things would work out and end up being the way I wanted. I am fussy and Jordan patiently worked with me to be sure I was happy with the results. Sara Dougan was my project scheduler. She is a dream to work with, extremely helpful, friendly and several times went over and above the call of duty to help me when I needed things moved around. Sara also worked with me on my first pool, and she remembered me when she saw my name this time around.My pool and 90% of my yard was done in 10 1/2 weeks from dig to pool filling. Everything would have been done in 8 weeks but I lost 2 1/2 weeks due to rain and waiting for my yard to dry out in the very rainy winter that Phoenix had in December 2023, January and February 2024.I am absolutely thrilled with the way my yard turned out. It is exactly what I wanted it to be like. I recommended California Pools to my friends and they have been very happy with the company as am I. I will always recommend California Pools to anyone I can, and if I should ever have a third yard to complete, I will only consider them. They are a fabulous company.

California Pools was not on our original list of three and we found them almost by mistake. What a great mistake it turned out to be. In addition to our pool they did all the hard scrape, landscape, and artificial turf. Including expected weather delays and changes we made to the original design Cal Pools came in on time and on budget. We highly recommend you include Cal Pools in your search.

In 1995 we had California Pools build our pool, deck and barbecue grill structure on the property of our newly built home. Twenty four years later, it was time to remodel. While searching for a contractor to do the work, we recalled that California Pools focused on "customer satisfaction" and the results that they delivered in 1995 reflected that focus. Even though 24 years is a long time to expect a company's culture to remain the same, we felt that given our previous experience California Pools would be worth another consideration. So they were among the handful of contractors we choose to submit a proposal for our remodel project. California Pools made our choice easy! The expertise of their team was apparent with in every meeting, conversation or email request we submitted. During our remodel an issue arose that needed the attention of Steve Dreher, Senior Manager of Construction. Steve visited my home assessed the situation and then simply said, "We will take care of everything at no additional cost to you and our work will only be finished when you are completely satisfied". Problem solved! Bill Schlis, Lead Hardscape Manager took charge and made Steve's commitment a reality. Not only did he personally attend to our project's needs but he and his highly qualified crew were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Bill told me, "California Pools is all about making customers happy" and the results he and his team delivered reflect that belief! Every contractor will tell you that they are committed to making their customers happy. With many, those are just words. The difference here is that California Pools "walks the talk". Steve and Bill along with the rest of the team at California Pools are true professionals. Had CA Pools build a custom pool/spa/built in BBQ/landscape/hardscape in Sereno Canyon, N. Scottsdale. CPL Sr. Designer Paul Swirski created a stunning design that was to our exact specifications. We are very pleased with the quality and final outcome. CPL made sure everything was spot on and completed to perfection. A big thanks to Paul Swirski for making our dream become reality! California Pools continues to demonstrate they're a customer centric organization. They will do whatever is necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. Their warranty/service coordinator, Chelle Aubrey, is an absolute pleasure to work with. She listens to your request and engages the proper support team fast and efficient. In a world were customer service is lacking, Chelle demonstrates she understands her job, cares about the customer, and has a great understanding of the products California Pools sells. Class act!!

I had the pleasure of working with Sara Dougan during the construction of our pool, Sara was always communicating and was our advocate which was very helpful during the stress of building a pool during the complications of Covid related issues, delays, selections etc.

I have built three pools with California pools and landscape and just used them to install a new patio. Todd, Jesse and Jeremy are all fantastic and their knowledge is unsurpassed. Anytime we ran into issues, which happens in almost every construction project, they explained the process and had solutions readily available. Pools have become increasingly complex and Jesse's quick responses to our questions has been one of the reasons we keep going back to this company. The warranty department and Todd have been awesome and get you scheduled quickly. There are a lot of stories about pool builders that are not reputable and cannot be found after your pool is built. That is not the case with California pools and landscape who treat you like their best customers long after your pool is complete.

We hired California Pools to replace an old pool and they have totally transformed our backyard! Beginning with the estimate and design process, their staff have carefully listened to what we were hoping for and translated that into a plan we could afford. Thank you to Brian Rau, project manager, for his patience and design talent. Robert Lory is our construction manager and he has done a fantastic job of supervising the complex details of executing the design. He has been great at communicating with us every step of the way, and he frequently stops by the site to see for himself how things are going, make sure the work is done to quality standards and to get our feedback. Finally, the administrative processes and communication have been handled by Rebecca Schulte, who has been responsive, thorough and patient. We wholeheartedly recommend California Pools!

Awesome! We had such a great experience with EVERYONE at California Pools! I highly recommend this company if you are looking to have a pool built! We met with Brian and Cliff and they were knowledgable and honest, when they left our house my husband and I both looked at each other and said we WANT to work with them!!! The design Brian came back with was exactly what we had envisioned. He was always quick to respond if we had any questions. I have already recommended him to our family and friends! Once we signed the contract the processing department, specifically Cammy, was so helpful with ensuring we had everything we needed taken care of. Our Scheduling Manager, Sara, got in touch with us right away and kept things smooth sailing throughout the whole process! We ran in to a few rainy days and she was always on top of letting me know what changes were happening and getting things scheduled and rescheduled quickly. She was simply amazing!!! Steve (our Construction Manager) was a life saver! I was so nervous to have a pool built since we had never been through the process and Steve always made us feel so at ease. He would come by after every step and make sure it was all correct and looked good! We couldn't have done this without him! Once our pool was finish Gabe came out do our orientation for all of the equipment. He was very knowledgable and when I had a question a week later I was able to text him and he took care of it right away for me! If there is one thing I can say I was ALWAYS able to get in touch with someone! They were all so good at either answering calls, texts or emails! We never felt alone in the process and that made me feel so good with our decision to go with them! I would (and have) recommend them to anyone, they were simply amazing!!!

First let me say we couldn't be happier with the workmanship and the way the pool turned out.Despite a few fits and starts due to scheduling and supplier issues the project went extremely smooth.Robby the salesman/project manager was extremely helpful in the design and construction with regard to our wish list, Donna/Theresa were very accessible by email about schedules and minor delays.We can't thank Chuck Schlueter the construction manager and Matt Robinson the hardscape manager for their oversight and expertise to make sure everything about the final design, placement and workmanship was of the highest caliber.

My wife Lisa and I recently completed a major pool and patio remodel project with California pools. There are no words to describe how satisfied we are with both the process and the final product. Todd Hutchins, our project manager, has truly gone above and beyond in guiding this project though to the end. He listened patiently to both my wife and I and helped to craft our ideas into nothing short of a backyard paradise. Late one evening as the sun set Todd was out in our yard personally digging and pulling up drip lines in preparation for our turf application the following morning. Nothing shocking there except that that part of the project was not being done by his company! He knew that if this detail was not taken care of then there would have been a problem with lines under the turf. When you see a representative from a company go out of their way like this for a customer it really speaks volumes of both that individual and the entire organization they represent. In our minds, that was the definition of customer service. His work ethic and that of California Pools are beyond reproach. We obtained several estimates in the beginning of the project and California Pools was not the least expensive. Trust me, it is because you get what you pay for. Every team California Pools sent to our home was efficient, skillful and respectful of our property. A few standouts come to mind however. The masonry people who crafted our waterfall and the travertine team who laid the deck and the patio were true craftsman and the pride they took in their work was obvious. They were perfectionists from beginning to end, just what any proud homeowner would demand. California Pools is a terrific company with outstanding employees and very high quality standards. I would not hesitate to use them on a future project. In fact, I would be uncomfortable with any company but California Pools at the helm. I've made a video from the start of marking the layout of our pool to the finished product. Dave, our salesman, for CA Pools was our first contact and he made us feel very comfortable by going over every detail about the company, pricing, time frame, and if there are any problems. He did not pressure us into signing any contracts and made sure that we were totally educated in all aspects. During our initial visit with Dave we were totally honest with him by telling him that we had other pool companies that we were getting appraisals on. He assured us that CA Pool's will do the best job for us. Within a couple of days Dave called us to let us know that he would be sending, via email, a 3-D rendition of our property and how the pool-that we wanted-would fit in. I was amazed at how fast we got the renditions and everything that we asked for was there for us to see. This is our first pool so we didn't know what to expect once we signed the contract. Once we made the decision to go with CA Pool's we had nothing but the best communication with Dave as well as the people in the office. Any question or concern was immediately addressed and we didn't get the runaround that many companies do. We often felt so good that we were being treated like ROYALTY. Every crew that came from knocking down our wall, getting the heavy equipment in the yard to dig out the earth, plumbing, wiring, steel work, making our steps & benches, holes for our umbrellas, pebbling, tiles, lighting I can go on forever, were remarkable and friendly. After using the heavy equipment a new crew came in to put up a brand new wall and also painted it with the same exact color that our entire area has. Every crew that came cleaned up after they left and were respectful when our dogs needed to go out and do their business-LOL. We would highly recommend anyone to CA Pool's and gladly show them our video so they can rest assure that they chose the right Pool company. California Pools made the pool building process as easy as I could have imagined. They were great about being in very regular contact via email all through the process and they made special accommodations for our HOA too. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a great pool. Our pool turned out beautiful! It's exactly what we wanted down to the last detail.

CAL POOLS (Gabe equipment specialist) showed up today to check pool equipment. Gabe covered all concerns and answered all questions clearly putting our minds at ease. He went over backwash procedures, chemical maintenance, and equipment operation, this was all covered on pool completion back in AUG but since we do all upkeep we wanted to be clear on doing everything properly. Gabe has a lot of knowledge, experience, and easy to talk to, so glad CALPOOLS has people like Gabe working for them.

California pools and Landscape did a great job with our pool and hardscape. The final product is even better than we had hoped for. Marissa, the construction coordinator and Adam, the site Superintendent made sure that the construction stayed on schedule and they kept us informed during every step of the process.
