Pool Point Of View – Pyramid Peak Water Wall Pool

In the ‘Pyramid Peak Pool’ our designer Randy Marchello created a complete backyard environment with multiple destinations for entertainment and relaxation. This home in north Phoenix sits with views of Pyramid Peak and features a clean design with a dynamic visual aesthetic.
What’s Your Point Of View?
The 9-foot long raised water wall is the focal point of view from the home. It is covered with Elegant Walnut Porcelain tile and has two silver scupper water features. The ambiance and attractiveness of this design element makes it the main attraction of this backyard.
The pool features our Sea Glass Pebble with a Mediterranean finish and double abalone shell which adds to the sparkle of the pool. A large 51sf Baja Shelf with a built-in umbrella slot offers a great escape for relaxation in the shallow water. The waterline tile is a 6-inch x 6-inch Catania Ocean by National Pool Tile that contributes a splash of blue. The pool is connected to the spa with a narrow spillway and is surrounded by a geometric deck design. The traditional Light Grey concrete pool decking is laid in a unique design with clean straight lines.
What’s The Whole Yard Approach?
When designing your backyard oasis, we encourage considering all the aspects that are present in your environment along with the functionality that you’d like to achieve.
For Pyramid Peak Pool, creating a seamless environment was important. The pool deck ties the yard together and serves as a step pad from one area to the next. The poured concrete fire pit offers a classic fire option and serves as a surface area when not burning with the polished wood cover. The contrast between the pool deck and Desert Verde Granite adds a balance to the palette of the yard.
The front entry features concrete pavers and landscaping for the entrance into the home and through the side access gate. The Belgard Cambridge Cobble concrete pavers in Rio Blend color provide a natural path to entrances and a nice blend into the landscaping.
