A Surprise Pool Building Experience That’s New-Pool Refreshing

My pool was just finished and I think Cal Pools did a really nice job. They have great tools for communication, which is good to have over a long project. The summer of 2022 saw a concrete allocation, which slowed down every large project in the valley that used concrete. It was a bit frustrating having to wait, but I certainly wasn't alone as it affected everyone. From excavation to completion, my project took 8 months. Considering the hangover from the pandemic and the concrete shortage, I felt that amount of time was reasonable. The quality of construction was good, the field supervision was excellent and there were no stupid mistakes made during the project. They installed Hayward equipment, which is top-notch. Special mention goes to Scheduling Manager Marissa and Field Superintendent Scott. They were both right on top of my job, stayed in constant communication and made sure everything went according to plan. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend California Pools.

I could not be happier with the customer service provided by California Pools and Landscape. We had a few unforeseen hiccups along the way, but Noah S & Vianna L took great care of my project and resolved the issues. To me, customer service and warranty follow through are as important (if not more than) the product, and they have absolutely delivered on all fronts. I was referred to Cal Pools for the customer service and Noah and Vianna did not disappoint! They both attended to my project and the warranty repairs as if it was their top priority even though I know they have many other customers to serve. Our pool and landscaping are absolutely beautiful and we are thrilled to get to enjoy our heated pool year round. You have earned a life long customer!

So far, so good! We recently began the process of building our backyard with California Pools & Landscape. From the 1st meeting our experience has been wonderful. Marc Olsen has been very accommodating to our needs! He has been patient with any changes we have made and has designed us a beautiful backyard. We are very excited for our project!

Our experience with California Pools was phenomenal. We had complete demo of our front and back yards, installation of pool, spa, fire pit, outdoor grill/counter, front courtyard, with travertine patios and walkways front and back, and full landscaping. Cal Pools also resurfaced an existing customized fountain to match and fit right in with our new pool. Although we have a small yard, working with California Pools Matt Sauer we were able to create a design to incorporate everything we wanted and it is beautiful! Matt White supervised the entire project through all phases and he was meticulous in ensuring quality construction was accomplished - timely! No delays, no major issues, and Matt kept us engaged and informed of the process and steps all along the way. Each crew was professional. The entire Cal Pool staff, from folks physically at our site to the gals orchestrating and scheduling the process from the office were absolutely awesome. It was a large project -completed in 4 months and we couldn't be more pleased. My husband is very picky but Cal Pools met all our expectations for a wonderful new yard. Their estimate was higher than competitors, but I feel we truly got our money's worth without 'add ons' through a professional, well orchestrated, timely process!!

Have been very impressed with California Pools and Landscape through the design and build of our new pool/yard. Each piece of the process has been methodical and professional. We've had good service from everyone we have dealt with, and fantastic service from the landscape supervisor Nathan Aceves; Sarese Ferguson Scheduling Manager, and Sean Beavers, project mamager. Will definitely be recommending them.

We recently retired to Arizona and this is our 1st experience building a pool. I cannot say the whole experience was without a few bumps but California Pools resolved every problem with speed and friendliness. I would highly recommend California Pools and Landscape!! (and I am a tough customer to please).

Our experience with California Pools from start (planning our pool project and all the details involved in selecting the appropriate materials), the entire construction process, the post-construction orientation (related to operating the pool, the landscape lighting and caring for the landscape plantings, etc.) and any warranty-related issues has been phenomenal. Their entire staff represent the highest in professionalism, expertise and customer service. Responding in a timely manner and working to resolve any and all issues for their customers I would suggest is part of the California Pools "DNA!"

CALIFORNIA POOL built our pool 4 years ago, wonderful job, we never had a problem with it. Last weekend the pump decided to quit, we called and the service dept scheduled an appointment right away.Kent Hold came out he was so nice and professional and got the problem fixed, thank you so much.

My sister Adriana, works here at Cal Pools and is always raving about how professional and efficient the atmosphere here is. So far we are very satisfied with the quality of our pool. I would definately recommend them to a freind or family member. We were kept up to date on the progress through e-mail. When we did have a couple issues they came out and addressed them right away. We are new to owning a pool so we would have appreciated a little more instruction on the operation and maintenance. But besides that things went great, and we know they are only a phone call away if we have a question.

I am completely impressed with their customer service namely Shelly, Super friendly and helpful! Got all my questions answered and felt comfortable making a decision after speaking with her!

California pools was the most responsive from the time I requested a quote and had great communication through to the end of the project. They had the resources needed even during the busy season and shortage of products. We love our pool and glad we chose them for our project!

Almost one year ago we hired California Pools & Landscape (CPL) to build our dream backyard. Today (November 4, 2021) the Service Team replaced several plants and filled bared spots across the yard with additional granite/gravel. Braulio and Santos were the landscaping professionals assigned to the project. I am so grateful for their kindness, outstanding work ethic, and a focus to understand and meet customer needs. Moreover, Connie Carey, Warranty Coordinator, is the center of gravity whom maintains the service orders running smoothly and delivered on time. She is amazing, reliable, transparent, and responsive. Finally, Michael McCormick, Warranty and Remodel Specialist, works hand in hand with Connie to assure the service orders are documented according to what Is essential to deliver customer satisfaction. We are in great hands with the CPL Team. Thank you for all you do for us.

Put a down payment on a new pool, far California pools and their employees have been great. Their customer service has been exceptional. I will update once it has been completed. I especially there online application. It is user friendly, and greatly appreciated. Knowing all upcoming steps helps to reassure us.

Ernie at California Pools in Surprise was incredible! He listened, actually listened, to us during our initial meeting. He was methodical, knowledgeable and extremely patient. We have seen a big turnaround on our project since Darrin Castillo has taken over as site superintendent. Fredi Martinez has been instrumental in getting the FX color landscape lights that makes our property really pop in the neighborhood. Our pool is finally complete and we are swimming!. Awesome pool, have received many positive comments from neighbors and friends, we love it!. The period from start to finish was 10 months) but we were aware of time involved when signing the contract.
