A Peoria Pool Building Experience That’s As Refreshing As Your New Pool

We had our pool built from Dec 2022 to Jan 2024. It was a long process, but Nathan and Matt helped navigate all the pitfalls. We are very happy with the outcome and love how our pool looks.

Although it took longer than expected due to labor and material shortages, our family will be able to enjoy our resort style backyard for years to come. From the designer to the construction crews, California Pools rocks! They listened to our needs and made our vision become reality. Even when things were slow due to the pandemic, Ryan Delfino and Duane Yetton went the extra mile to insure our project was completed before a very important day; our daughter's birthday party. Victoria in scheduling was very efficient to get our project done on time. We would recommend California Pools and Landscape to everyone. If you are looking for a great design, Ryan Delfino is the man to see!

I was referred to California Pools by a couple friends and they have not disappointed. Robby Stubbs has done a great job designing our pool and helping us pick the right necessities and features to stay within our budget. As a former construction business owner, the number one thing I look at in a company is customer service. From day 1, Robby was on time with our appointment, returned plans, designs and quotes when he said he would have them to us. Whenever I had questions, I would receive a response from him within 24 hours, most times within an hour or two. His supporting staff has always been professional, courteous, and honest. We are just completing phase one of our pool construction; the dig, plumbing, rebar, and electrical. Sean Bradburn our Construction Manager has made everything pleasantly on time and with no hiccups. Sean has done a great job overseeing the trades, making sure they maintain a high standard. Again, communication has been exceptional. I will keep you updated as the project progresses.

California Pools gave us a dream team to work with. Josh, Valerie and Dustin were absolutely wonderful and incredibly responsive each time I reached out with any questions or concerns. The communication throughout the process was clear on what would be done and when and what steps were remaining. Once the permit was approved the building of the pool happened in a very timely manner. Our down payment was made in March and we were swimming by mid August. It probably would have been completed faster but they were limited on when they could start being limited by the home builder. They made every effort to work around my night shift schedule and when a big dust storm can through they stopped by to check up on my pool and even send out Gabe to service our pool and get it back to a sparkling color. They quickly came out to address some issues we had with the pebbletec and those issues have already been resolved. Other than that, our pool has been incredibly low maintenance. Josh knows what he's talking about and what you need to have a low maintenance pool that practically takes care of itself. Valerie and Dustin managed the building of the pool very well and again, communication was stellar. Gabe showed me tricks on little things that go a long way to keeping the beautiful, clear and sparkling water. Thank you so much everyone, we will enjoy this space for years to come!

We did a very thorough search around and got designs and bids from most recommended pool companies in AZ. We finally decided to move with CPL eventhough they were a bit more expensive since they were upfront and detailed with their bid and pricing. We knew from the very vague bids from the other companies that they would keep adding to the cost and we would end up paying more. The pool finished within a week of when we were promised, it is exactly what we were hoping for and at more or less the same price we were quoted. Everything aside, we have to mention our on site job supervisor, Pete Barrera. He is an ex-military guy, very friendly, organized, and an all around great guy. My wife and I loved working with him and he is the main reason we got exactly what we wanted and have our pool on time in such a high demand season ;-)

Simply put this company is a class organization. From the beginning, to the very end, they showed nothing but class and professionalism. What California Pools gave us is the epitome of customer service, from Joe who was our salesman, to Sean who was our project manager, to Rebecca who coordinated it all, they demonstrated nothing but class in their organization. If you are in doubt about who to trust to install your pool wonder no more, California Pools is the one!

We had a long wait, that darn pandemic did mess with things a bit, but when things started happening, boy did they roll with it. We have a beautiful pool and a fantastic backyard. Everyone has been so good, and easy to contact with by phone or using the app. Joel was our salesman who talked us through the whole process. Roy was our contractor when things got going. Chris, Leo, Bethany, Adriana just to name a few of the team that helped us get to the finish line. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Our pool is finally complete and we are swimming!. Awesome pool, have received many positive comments from neighbors and friends, we love it!. The period from start to finish was 10 months) but we were aware of time involved when signing the contract. We would like to give a big shout out to all involved in this project especially Nadine and Jordan, communication and coordination was awesome, crews on every phase were outstanding.. We can honestly say we had no issues with anyone or the process. 5 stars all the way

We built a brand new home and just recently moved in. Cal Pools was our choice for our first ever pool, as we have moved to AZ from IL. Cliff Fox was our designer and he nailed the design immediately, with minor tweaks and equipment suggestions (get the OmniLogic App controller!). We were kept in constant communication from the start of the project through the recent completion by the excellent scheduling staff, specifically Sara D. We met with Pete, our project manager at our not-yet completed pool project, and instantly knew he was the kind of guy who gets things done. We had questions and he made some suggestions, and took pictures for us and did whatever else was necessary for our complete satisfaction. The communication level of this entire team is exemplary. My emails, calls or texts were answered by all involved immediately. My wife and I would highly recommend Cal Pools based on our experience, and specifically those three I mentioned, Cliff, Sara and especially Pete.

California Pools came thru 100%. I can't say enough about this team. I want to recognize a few people. Aaron H who sold us on our dream backyard, was the main component on the design and spearheaded this project. Aaron was the main reason we went with California Pools and are so pleased we did. His knowledge of this business was impressive to say the least. Always in our corner and available for whatever we threw at him. Valerie W a delight to work with. She always kept us up to speed on the project timelines and kept trades shedule tight to meet completion dates. Duane Y our Construction Manager who we bothered continously about this and that always had a great attitude and kept me in line stating "I'm On It". We never had it in our minds at the beginning of the project to have the pool completed by our annual Halloween Party. They asked me during the build if we had a date in mind which we gave them not thinking it was realistic. But this team got it done, pool, lighting, landscape and hardscape. And everything else that goes along with it. They finish the project 2 days ahead of schedule and our Halloween party was more of a success than we ever could have imagined. Our backyard went from dirt to a desert oasis we are so proud of. We owe it all to this team for making that happen. I work for a builder and paid close attention to the work being done and schedule time lines. There were many people I did not mention but were fabulous to work with. Bottom line - would I recommend California Pools and this team to build your pool. DEFINITELY YES!!

Having so many pool company options available can making the selection process overwhelming, and a bit nerve wrecking for such a substantial investment. However, now having completed this project we can breathe and confidently state we're happy with our selection. They delivered great results turning our vision into reality. Matt, Dylan and team were wonderful to work with. They are very responsive, transparent throughout the entire project. They have an amazing app that keeps us in the loop and helps us keep track of the timeline. Everyone was professional, organized and dependable.

Sean and his crew did a fantastic job with Aaron's design for our yard. They were timely and got the pool installed by the holidays like we requested. Very high quality work, and they were very responsive when we called. I would highly recommend California Pools!

CAL Pools is super on customer service. When we have a question on how to operate our pool filter, or getting that light fixture back on etc. you send an email and they get back to you with tips, saving on setting up unnecessary service calls. After 10 years of waiting, and many hours of research, our backyard has been transformed. My experience with California Pools was excellent. From the design with Les lull, to my amazing construction manager Ron Arden, to scheduler marcee walker, I was extremely pleased. Ron Arden's attention to detail, construction knowledge and friendly demeanor was a pleasure to work with. My pool and landscape exceeded my expectations. From shotcrete to swimming was one month. Unheard of!! Thank you to everyone that made our experience awesome!

My wife and I went through an extensive vetting process in selecting a company to build our swimming pool. It took some time for us to get down to a final list of 4, and we met with each of those builders. We received designs and quotes from all of them, which then allowed us to narrow our options down to two. Ultimately, we picked Cal Pools because of our Designer, Joshua Turnbull. We chose... correctly! Joshua truly took the time to understand our vision for our backyard. We were beginning with a blank slate (empty dirt lot) and we knew that we could not afford to do the entire backyard at once. Joshua not only designed the swimming pool and backyard of our dreams, but he also broke up the entire project into multiple phases so we could budget accordingly. After design, the construction process ran very smoothly. Howard Coffinger was our Construction Manager and he maintained great communication with us throughout the build. He held his contractors to high standards and was incredibly picky about how our project looked. He identified a small problem that we probably never would have noticed. Rather than letting it slide, he immediately reached out to us with reasonable options for solutions ready to discuss. Marcee Walker was our Scheduling Manager and was the glue that held all of this together. She was incredibly easy to reach via phone or email and was very fast to respond. In fact, if we didn't know who to ask about a particular item, it got to where we just reached out to Marcee and she always got our communication into the correct hands (though she typically just took care of it herself). As I write this, Phase I (swimming pool, spa, and deck) are complete. The end result is beautiful! Phase II will be starting soon and we are excited to work with Cal Pools every step of the way.

After researching the "best pool companies" in Phoenix I settled upon three companies and received quotes. I selected California Pools and am thrilled I decided upon them!The pool was complete BEFORE the date they gave me as a finish date and they exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed with the communication provided on an almost daily basis during construction from Sara Dougan - she was fantastic.A job well done, I strongly recommend California Pools.

Cal Pools built our pool and amazing backyard in February 2016. After enjoying our pool all summer I will say we couldn't be happier with the finished product. Matt Sauer did a great job designing the pool and I can't say enough about the ongoing service and support of Jesse Rollins. He is the service manager and is always answering emails and texts even on the weekend late at night! He has helped me with so many issues and always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend the company especially for the service after the finished product!

Our brand new pool and yard have just been completed by California Pools and Landscape. We have been guided through the whole process by professionals who know their business and understand customer needs. We have been impressed by the efficiency and efforts of all the team, including the scheduling by Sarese and the landscaping by Nathan Aceves. Can definitely recommend them.

We have had Trevor out a couple times to service/repair some issues on our complex pool system. He has always been right on time or early, finishes faster than anticipated, explains what he's doing and why, and makes sure we are satisfied before he leaves.

We used California Pools and Landscape for a makeover with my Mom's front yard! We were pleased from the beginning after meeting and getting quotes from other companies. We worked with Brian Egge, Don Schmuhl and Alex Barone-Jay. All very professional and kind. We had a few hiccups along the way...but they were sure to resolve any issues quickly. We are extremely pleased with the new updated yard and would highly recommend their services! Here are a few before and after photos. It totally warmed up the look of her home.

Had our pool & landscaping finished in July and was very impressed with the service. Project finished exactly when promised and looks better than we could have imaged. We are constantly getting compliments on our backyard! Really liked that fact that they are a "one stop shop" and completed not only the pool, but the entire backyard landscaping. Dealt primarily with Travis, he was always easy to get a hold of and helped us get the backyard that meets both our ideas and our budget. Highly recommend.

My pool and yard are amazing! Matt Sauer helped design my vision. Victoria Collins and Todd Stewart are AMAZING! Todd was here almost every day, making sure things were going well and inspecting! Victoria is a mad scheduler(I mean that in a good way)!! I couldn't be happier with my final product! Adam is a good new addition!

Had estimates from other local pool companies and California Pools beat them by a landslide. I would never hire a contractor or anyone for that matter based on price alone but with everything California Pools did, they far exceeded my expectations. From design, to materials used, and finally the build quality and final product, my backyard is exactly what I wanted and more. The pool and landscape is amazing, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be calling them in the future when I'm ready for some upgrades. Thanks again for the amazing backyard!

Cal Pools did our design and build a few years ago and it's awesome. We recently had an issue with a light in the pool and needed repair. Jessie R. was our technician and he was GREAT. He arrived on time and was very professional. He made sure he understood the problem and explained the solution clearly. He then made the repairs and everything worked great. He also cleaned up thoroughly and gave us some general tips and instructions for maintenance moving forward! Overall, a GREAT experience with Cal Pools thanks to Jessie R.
