We had a very good experience with California pools. Our pool was done in the time frame we needed. Sean our site manager was amazing and was here every day or every couple once construction started. He was amazingly detailed oriented and if there was anything he felt was not perfect he immediately had the team back to correct it. I am one of those difficult customers with big ideas but with limited resources. But even with my small budget, Les was able to present a lovely design, good sized pool I can do laps, big grass pod, flowering plants and fruit trees- it's paradise in my own backyard! Big thanks to Les and his team , Dustin, Julie, Wendy for making it happen! My only comment with Calpool is there are weeks with no activity and I was also busy to follow up. I have the impression that Calpool may have many ongoing projects, so it's best to always follow up. So after weeks of idle time, finally I emailed company and that's when Valerie Watson stepped in and took over to completion! She did an awesome job as a manager and coordinator. Responds to email. I would send her photos of pool issues and she'll quickly send the subs to rectify. Valerie is very focused and gets the job done. Kudos to Daniel Morris - very professional, he is the workforce in closing out the project! Took the extra mile by doing work himself prior to inspection. Very good with liaising with city inspectors, subs and customer in passing inspection. Impressive problem solver! Last step and most exciting is turnover by pool expert Gabriel, he is very knowledgeable and he makes it look easy to maintaining pool hahah. He's cool to my video recording his instructions knowing that's a lot of information to remember in a day. Very happy customer here and am highly recommending this company because of my good personal experience and the good quality of their work. This will not be my only review because the pool isn’t finished yet but wanted to let you know the progress and service so far. We could not be more satisfied with the process. They didn’t promise anything they didn’t deliver on and everyone has been so wonderful. I really can’t stress that enough.If I call or leave a text, or a message in the personal portal they have for each customer, they are quick to get back and are so helpful in whatever it is you call them about. We had to switch project designers and we were really bummed about that because he was fantastic but he brought Joshua over to meet us and show him the project and he is phenomenal!Adam is the superintendent and he comes and checks on every stage that is completed to make sure it’s up to par!! We do have a small yard so it isn’t a huge project but they are doing the whole yard, pool, travertine, turf, and landscaping .Will come back at the completion to give an update.

Chelle McCarthy not only took my call immediately, but she took time to completely address my questions and further explained her part in the warranty program. We had handrails installed at the hot tub and the pool. from start to finish Fermin and Shelly were right there on top of everything. altho the handrails had to be ordered and there was a wait time, most everything these days needs to be ordered and waited on so there was no real problem. Fermin was very attentive to my needs and worked with me to carefully place the hand rails so i would get the most benefit and support.
