Phoenix Pool Contractor is a 2014 BBB Business Ethics Award Winner

The Better Business Bureau of Central, Northern and Western Arizona announced the winners for the 2014 BBB Business Ethics Awards Wednesday night at its 13th annual dinner celebration.  California Pools & Landscape is proud to be named the 2014 category 4 (51-150 employees) winner as a leading Phoenix Pool Contractor.  At the dinner to accept the award were California Pools family of owners, Mike, Joan, Jeremy & Stephanie Smith.

“The winners of the 2014 Business Ethics Awards have not only demonstrated an understanding of how ethical business practices impact profitability, they’ve also shown its positive effect on company culture and the community,” said Matthew Fehling, BBB President/CEO. “For this reason, we are proud to have them join over 50 local companies celebrated for their ethical business practices.”

As a 2014 winner, California Pools & Landscape, Phoenix Pool Contractor was selected by an independent, volunteer panel of community and business leaders based on criteria established by the Council of Better Business Bureaus’ International Torch Award.
When asked about her experience with ‘Cal Pools’, Senior Manager Nicole Shoppach replied, “I have made California Pools & Landscape my career home for one main reason. Every day I come to work I know exactly what to expect. I know that ownership will address issues head on and in an honest and ethical manner.  I know that every customer will be treated fairly and receive the highest quality product. I know that every trade/vender/laborer will be respected and paid on time for their hard work.”

Commitment to excellence does not stop with ownership at California Pools, though.  “I know that every California Pools’ employee is dedicated in making all the above happen on a daily basis”, adds Shoppach.
