California Pools just finished up our install. Pete was fantastic. He came onto the project after the original construction manager left and dealt with every snag. We never had to deal with any delay or surprise costs. It was a difficult property to work with and Pete made sure it was done right and to our wishes. Sara was our scheduler and we couldn't have been happier with the amount of communication we received. Every question we had was promptly answered, and we always knew when a crew would be arriving to work on a different phase. Thanks so much guys!

We are just finishing a complete pool and landscaping project at a new home that was completed in October. Obviously with the pandemic, global supply shortages and AZ labor challenges, this was a difficult time for a project like this. But we had a March deadline both personally and financially and we are thrilled to have achieved it. We have been impressed with California Pools & Landscaping crews throughout the project with their attention to detail and overall quality work. And we are especially grateful to have had Bethany Howell as our Scheduling Manager for most of the project. In this difficult environment Bethany kept us informed, was always honest with what was occurring with the project and we felt was always looking out for our best interests. Thanks Bethany and Cal Pools, we can't wait for our Grandchildren to enjoy our backyard resort later this month.

The consultation and design by Damian K was impressive and transparent to a point that we signed our contract for the full services of California Pool & Landscape. Stay informed within the CPL Portal, communicate with your scheduling team as well as your site supervisor, but be patient and trust that the wait is worth the reward.

We had an ongoing pool issue, with a temporary repair needed over the summer, and completion in the winter. Emma did a fantastic job staying in touch, following up, and providing thorough info throughout the process. Thanks, Emma, for your good communication.

This will not be my only review because the pool isn’t finished yet but wanted to let you know the progress and service so far. We could not be more satisfied with the process. They didn’t promise anything they didn’t deliver on and everyone has been so wonderful. I really can’t stress that enough.If I call or leave a text, or a message in the personal portal they have for each customer, they are quick to get back and are so helpful in whatever it is you call them about. We had to switch project designers and we were really bummed about that because he was fantastic but he brought Joshua over to meet us and show him the project and he is phenomenal!Adam is the superintendent and he comes and checks on every stage that is completed to make sure it’s up to par!! We do have a small yard so it isn’t a huge project but they are doing the whole yard, pool, travertine, turf, and landscaping .Will come back at the completion to give an update.

We Started thinking about a pool in Oct 2016 and went with Calpools because of the Warranty We had a tight construction window 75 days start to finish Steve Reichmuth designed and presented the drawings. We flew to Chandler to meet with him and change a few things but wanted the same schedule. Steve reworked the plans and we Started. After a few weeks we made changes and Steve made everything work. Great job Duane Yetton was our Construction Superintendent and when I mentioned the 75 day schedule he wasn't sure but it would be tight. We explained that with vacation plans it had to be done, he said ok and it was. Great communications and follow up stayed on top of crews. Then Luis Landscape Superintendent came and I Change the total landscape plan at the last minute. Luis kinda smiled and said well we'll make it happen and he did. His crew was great and finished on time clean up and all. Couldn't have been happier Todd Stewart Service Tech did start up and came by several times to explain things, I was a slow learning the tecky stuff but he did a great job. Matt the Director of Construction met with me on a couple punch list items. We had an issue with water running out of pool at the Hot Tub, (because of a location change I made to waterfall feature),. Matt and I discussed several options and decided to put a boulder at the edge of travertine and hot tub like the original plans showed. Matt had 2 guys demo and 2 guys run for materials they were finished in less than 4 hours looks great and works great and you would never known they were there. Thanks Beautiful job Dan Arnson

We figured they must be reliable and professional if they have been in business that long. Jordan and Sara were very professional and reliable. Their communication through the whole process was always timely and informative.

We were recommended to this company from a previous customer Bobbie and Susan Popper. From the moment we meant Matt Sauer his professionalism and design ideas around our existing pool, were spot on. He additionally went over and above with helping us with recommending a Solar Panel company for our home. He advised and helped with the color and materials selection for the fire pit, barbecue and pavers. Always quick to respond and answer our questions and concerns. The three masonry gentlemen we were very pleased with their workmanship, attention to detail and how thorough they all were. At the end of every day all the contractors cleaned up very well and were very respectful. Communication with Sara Dougan and Dustin were always accurate. If I had a question or concern with billing statement or scheduling questions they were quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this company to our friends and family.

We are so close to swimming in our new pool! Jordan and Cody have been amazing to work with. Jordan, our project manager, is ultra responsive to texts and stops by to check the progress often. He is always available to answer questions and ensure we are on track. While the pool building business is no longer a six week sign to swim project, we are glad to have chosen Cal Pools to re-create our back yard. It's important to fully understand the process and realistic timelines in today's climate when choosing a pool builder. Cal Pools has made an otherwise frustrating experience easier and more exciting with their open lines of communication, app to track progress and amazing staff.

We have had the pleasure of working with Doug, Jordan and Sarah on building our pool and landscaping our yard. The communication from the very start was phenomenal. We did have a couple hiccups, but with those hiccups Jordan and Sarah went above and beyond to get over those hiccups and delivered way more than we expected. They were a GREAT team to work with. Our dogs all approved of Jordan, as he made sure they were able to swim as soon as possible. We looked at a couple pool places and no one made us feel as confident or comfortable as California Pools. They valued our time and listened to what we wanted and addressed any concerns we may have had. Thank you Doug, Sarah, and Jordan. We appreciate you all!

Our supervisor was Nathan Reyes and he is my reason for this 5 star review. Nathan was truly the best!! Our designer left half way through the project but Nathan never missed a beat and got everything done and more!! Thank you Nathan and California Pools did an amazing job.

We just recently had our pool built by California Pools and we are so happy with how it turned out! It was kind of a lengthy process, but everything looks so great, it was worth the wait. Our Construction Manager Matt White was absolutely awesome! He was super attentive, and always looking out for us. He always had our best interests in mind, and strived to make our pool exactly how we envisioned it would be. Always patient and professional. He showed up all the time to make sure everything was perfect. Our Scheduling Manager Sarese was wonderful as well. She was always on top of every question or concern, and would send me emails outlining exactly what would be going on and when in the coming week. I never felt out of the loop, and I really appreciate that. They are both exceptional at what they do, and I recommend them highly! I think every single pool is going to run into individually specific challenges, but California Pools procedures address a lot of them before they even have a chance to become an issue. Now, that being said, I think there's a few things worth noting here. Namely, timeline. I think that because of these processes, it may take a little longer than another pool company might . But, trust me, you want them to take their time and get it right in the beginning. Also worth mentioning, it WILL take longer than just a few months, unless maybe it's a small pool, or you're having an existing one remodeled. We were originally told it would take 8-10 weeks to complete...not a chance. It takes 8-10 weeks after the hole is dug. There will be a good month before that happens, that you think what the heck is going on? Only a few people have come, and measured, and sprayed the outline on the ground. There is a bunch of stuff going on, just not at your house. They are getting the pool layout you sat with your Sales/Project Manager and designed (Shout out to Matt Sauer here...nice guy, fun to work with!), into a program for all of the different trades that will be building your pool. That way, they are all working from the same blueprint. Then there's financing, scheduling, etc. So, try not to yell at your CM when he shows up, because he doesn't know anything about you until a few days before he gets there. So, in my opinion (which I know, doesn't mean diddly), plan on your pool taking about 4-5 months to complete, and you will have a much better, more relaxed experience. California Pools is definitely who I would recommend. They are the best by far, and their people rock!

Just want to say that California Pools does stand by their warranty, work came out really good!

We knew going in to our project - which was a bigger build than normal, involving removal of 30' mesquite trees and a crumbling masonry wall - that we needed to play a long game to get everything done, what with supply chain and labor challenges. It took us 13 months exactly from contract signing to our first swim day. I mention this because if you're considering a pool install in these times, you should be aware of all of the logistical challenges in your way and know that certain things - like concrete - cannot be rushed by any construction company right now, no matter what. Cement plants can only make so much in a day, and the lion's share of that is allotted to new commercial and residential construction, not pool installs. Also since we wanted pavers for hardscape to aid in drainage, we had a selection of four types to choose from, down from the normal dozen or so. We as clients had to be extremely flexible and instantly responsive, and we knew that going in. We were highly motivated to finish and I was onsite every day to expedite the process. Our team was Randy for design, who listened carefully to me to adjust the smallest details even when I didn't really know what I was saying. We had Jason and Paul to manage the project, and we had Sara to keep everything coordinated and the comminucation flowing. A solution was found for every issue that cropped up. Every single person we interacted with was professional and caring. Every work crew was fun, made up of absolute artisans, and kept things tidy and shipshape. Normally you'd dread your sanctuary being overrun with construction teams for weeks and weeks, but attitude is everything, we were thrilled to see workers onsite and things moving forward. Thirteen months; no kidding. But we are so happy with our saltwater pool and we are in it every single day. Cal Pools were responsive to all of our concerns; even scheduling masonry before steel for us to get our back yard wall back up, in a complete reversal of their normal chain of operations, just to help us feel more secure at home. We had heard from others that whatever happened with the project, Cal Pools would do what they could to make it right for us, and that was true every step of the way.

California pools and staff were a complete joy to work with. They helped redesign a dated, mid-century concrete area into a beautiful resort worthy oasis. My family loves enjoying the outdoor retreat. I highly recommend California pools . Affordable financing and great selection of materials. Timely on construction and great communication. Currently building with California Pools & Landscape and couldn’t be happier with our decision! From the initial consultation with our designer, Dave, we knew we were in good hands. He brought up aspects of the yard and the functionality of the pool that showed he truly cares about us and our ultimate satisfaction with the end product. On top of it all, he’s a phenomenal designer who brought our vision to life - it’s not only a beautiful design but functional for our kids to make memories for years to come. The communication and service provided by our scheduler, Alex, and Super, Don, has exceeded our expectations. Alex has done a great job keeping us updated on the progress and upcoming work. Don is always available to answer any questions we have about the build, and his passion for getting it done the right way shows in everything he does. There’s nobody we’d trust more to build our backyard getaway!

Cal-Pools did our remodel last year and did a great job. They where not the cheapest, but they where the best at understanding what we wanted. We were very pleased. So now I called them because I screwed up my timers and was to dumb to figure it out They sent out Gabe there service tech who solved my problem and gave me instructions for the future. I was expecting a service charge, but the tech said it was a warranty issue, (even though I screwed up) which I did appreciate, and wasn't expecting. Once again, Cal-Pools has proven to be the best and I'm so glad we chose you for our pool.

Giving this company five full stars, because they were at the mercy of the labor crews. Although it feels like it took quite a while to get a pool in my backyard, It was really really wonderful to see it come to fruition. The office staff was completely engaged and always came out scheduled times to review everything. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. In fact, it is better than my new home build from the builder! The salesman, Doug Lillis, is fantastic at his job. He was very responsive all of the time. Also, Dustin was so helpful and came out as well to attend to things. We are absolutely thrilled with the project. It may have felt like a long wait and I hope that doesn't give this company negative reviews, because even the leadership staff that I spoke with, was also very attentive and responsive.

California pools recently completed our pool, spa and backyard and we are thrilled. The design by Scott was terrific, the build supervised by Dylan was outstanding. We could not be happier with the result and highly recommend California pools to any potential customer.

Stephen Reichmuth did a fantastic job with design of the pool. We had a basic "tropical" idea, and Stephen turned it into our personal oasis. Steve Dreher, Theresa Gordon and Duane Yetton worked hard to resolve any and all issues I had during the build through project completion. I am very happy with the results. I expected there to be issues along the way, and there were but, what speaks more to California than anything else is that Theresa and Duane worked very closely with me to get the issues resolved in a timely manner. This was greatly appreciated. We receive many complements on the pool and overall, we are 100% pleased with our decision, our purchase, our selection of California, and the project as a whole

Joshua, Marissa, and Jeremiah did an amazing job taking our vision from start to finish.

Gabe and Jonathon came over to my house to help me with my algae filled pool. They showed me the proper way to clean and install my filters. They reset my panel and explained that I need conditioner in the pool to trap the chlorine. Within a day of their help my pool went from green to blue! Thank you Gabe and Jonathon for your help, it was invaluable. And finally I would like to thank California Pool for their customer service.

I’ve been working with Brian Rau and he has done a great job of designing my front and backyards. Scheduling was quick and easy, Brian is always very flexible to meet my timelines. The design process was great and he was quick to update and make changes as I requested them. I would recommend (and have recommended) Brian and CA Pool to my friends and family.
