Sean is a true professional and was always right on top of every detail. He was always available or returned my calls immediately. I could ask anything of him during this project and he always came back with a "can do" attitude and made it happen. One time I called him and told him there was flooding in my side yard. I thought there was something wrong with the new plumbing that had been installed that day. He came over after I had left for work and discovered that it was a drip system problem and had nothing to do with the pool renovation he was overseeing. Sean dug up the main line, found the split in it, and repaired it on the spot. He didn't have to do that, but he did. That's the kind of guy he is. That's the kind of company California Pools is. You guys are Rock Stars. California Pools initially installed my pool many years ago and now has done an amazing job at renovating it and making it look better than new again. I had it re-pebbleteched, added two new sitting benches, all new plumbing and lighting, and resurfaced my decks with travertine. The project came in on schedule with absolutely no glitches. Again, many thanks for the outstanding job you all do. I give you guys a solid 10 for excellence.

Building a pool is usually something you do one time in your life so I wanted to be absolutely positive we did it right that's why I sought out California Pools to help me bring my idea to life. I recently purchased a home in July of last year and went straight into searching for a pool builder when I met with Steve from California pools he helped me bring the design elements together and was super easy going and not a tough sell at all. We broke ground on my property and it was solid rock under two inches of dirt so excavation was hell but California pools made it easy to navigate through that process thanks to Jeremiah our amazing project manager. He answered the phone day and night I don't think he ever missed one of my calls which is extremely rare in the contractor / construction industry. From excavation to the day we filled up the pool Jeremiah was there to see it through and make sure all my details weren't over looked. I would definitely suggest California pools to anyone who is looking for a good pool builder with awesome designers (Steve), diligent project managers (Jeremiah) and a great finance department who can make it extremely easy for you to have the backyard of your dreams. Also a huge thank you to all the construction crews who came out and brought this idea to life!

We had CA Pools remodel our pool several years ago, along with the remodel we had a fire pit installed. We ended up having a gas leak in the fire pit long after the warranty on the remodel had expired. We tried to get several companies to come out and repair the fire pit but no one would touch a gas leak. We called CA Pool in attempt to at least get a referral for the repair. They came out evaluated the problem, and let us know what the cost should have been to repair it. Our cost ended up being $0, they stand behind the work they do and when it's not up to their standards they do the repair even though it had been years since it was built. I would not hesitate to use them in the future for any work you need done on your pool or yard. Emma and Noah were wonderful to work with, Emma always called and let us know when Noah would be out. Noah was always on time and let us know exactly what was going on and Emma followed up Noah's visit with a call and more information. CA Pools does great work and when something goes wrong they fix it even if the warranty has been expired for years. Thank you for standing behind the work you do, it was a pleasure to work with both of you!

We have had a California Pool for nearly twenty years and have always enjoyed the use over this time without concern. When we were planing and did our homework we selected California Pools because of the reputation, warranty and top reviews. We were very fortunate because over the years the quality and low maintenance proved itself. Our pool remodel went very smoothly thanks to everyone at California Pools. From Les, who was our Project Manager to Rick our Construction Manager and Sara our Scheduling Manager-we always knew what to expect. Les explained the entire process to us. Rick was always available to check on how things were progressing and answer any questions. Sara was great-always available and keeping us updated on when different crews were coming out. California Pools is great at keeping the client in the loop of what's going on. We are so happy with how our pool remodel has turned out. They did a terrific job. California Pools was recommended to us by a family member and we would definitely recommend California Pools to any of our friends or family.

My pool and backyard construction was just recently completed. From start to finish, California Pools & Landscape handled the supply chain and labor issues professionally. Almost everything is handled through an app (communications with scheduling, installation dates, etc.) so you don't have to spend endless hours emailing or calling to ask "what's next?". My project manager/designer was Cody Risdon who did an absolutely amazing job incorporating everything I asked. He was knowledgeable, courteous and incredibly professional. Sara handled all of the scheduling and a lot of the communications on when certain portions of the project were to be installed. She was (and still is) on top of everything. She responded efficiently and made the process easier. My construction manager Duane has also been great. As with any new construction, we do a punchout walkthrough when almost everything is complete to make any adjustments. Duane has been on top of everything that I have asked. While the process was long, the team at Cal made it easier. I'm thrilled with my yard, and can't recommend CPL enough. Thank you all!

California pools turned a blank canvas into a backyard oasis. Putting in a pool and renovating a full backyard is a huge undertaking but when working with them there's so much communication, an awesome online platform for approvals and fantastic team members (shout out to Scott G.) it makes the whole thing very easy. In 8 weeks we went from a dirt square to a fully functional pool with killer landscaping. Stop waiting....you deserve a pool.

After being in Arizona for 39 years we put our first pool in. I visited other pool companies and was happiest with California Pools and their vision and quote. We are thrilled with this company and our new back yard. Brian spent hours with me going over design and colors to make sure this would be the pool of our dreams. I can't say enough about Matt White our project manager. He was fantastic. He explained what was going to happen, oversaw the work making sure it was up to his high standards and kept us informed all through the process. Leanne was a voice on the phone and the great Texter, she kept the schedule up, informed us when rain was delaying and was just overall nice and friendly. This is a well run, organized company with high standards, we are so glad we had California pools to work with.

I am an insurance agent who specializes in construction. I have worked with numerous contractors over the years. Working in the industry might give me a little different perspective when it comes to picking the right contractor. I looked at several pool contractors and made my assessment based on the track record of California Pools & Landscape and their identity of trust in the marketplace. I am very happy we went with them. The finished product is amazing, we couldn't be more happy with it. I was very impressed with their practices. They have an impressive systematic process and team approach to communicating schedules, changes, etc. They were very accommodating to various requests and the crews were all very professional. If we had it to do all over again I would choose Cal Pools without hesitation.

These folks are great to work with. They worked with us on the design of the pool, it's features, and the landscaping to give just what we wanted. The pool turned out great and is very low maintenance with the systems they installed. The landscaping gave us the look we were going for and included irrigation that could be modified for future needs. They stand behind their work and addressed the very few warranty issues that cropped up with the year following installation. So as a very satisfied customer that has been living with the results of their work for over a year, I heartily recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship, integrity, and design.

Having a pool built can be very stressful! However, the team at California Pool and Landscape go above and beyond with their customer service ! You may not enjoy the process of having a pool built but you will appreciate how helpful and supportive the team is at California Pool. The first step of having it designed is fun and Jacob really makes the experience easy and keeps tabs on you during the entire process. My CM Jason went above and beyond. He checked on the project at every step of the way. If I had a question, he was there to answer it. He was on sight after every job was completed. He double checked the work and made sure I understood the entire process .Sara is also there to guide you And answer all of your questions. She is quick to respond on the app or over the phone. She explains the final steps which are the most exciting process. She is kind and very good at her job. The customer service experience with California Pools makes the entire process worth it. Not to mention the quality and beautiful pool I now have. It is everything I had imagined and more.Thank you California Pools!

Great experience from start to finish. Once we quit putting in change orders construction started and one crew after another came in did a great job. On schedule through the whole job no delays. Joe McCoy very patiently designed our vision and we couldn't love it more. Matt White and Sherese took it from there me we had a crew in our backyard pretty much every day until the pool was perfect! We are very happy and satisfied with our pool. We paid a little more for this pool and feel it is money well spent. Would we do business with California Pools again? You bet! Would I recommend them to family and friends? Absolutely! Here we are many months later and it's just warming up enough to use our pool. I wanted say a few more things. I'm so glad we got the super smooth pebble finish option! It cost a little more but it's as smooth as plaster with the lifetime pebble warranty. So luxurious! Also, we upgraded to the PC 2000 cleaning system which is worth every penny! The pool truly takes care of itself. My husband has been tempted to intentionally blow the lawn debris into the pool because he knows the cleaning system will clean it up. We are now considering heating the pool for the cooler months. We will be going back to California pools to provide this service.

Other than my sales guy Robbie trying to put the worse tree possible next to my pool. Everything with construction went well. Jordan was always there to help and answer his phone all the time. Made sure to explain procedures and schedule and how things work. Overall, it was a pleasant experience from construction and the people that came out to do the work.

I love my California pool. I’ve had it for almost three years, and any time I have an issue the staff at California Pools take care of it immediately. The staff truly cares about their customers and their product. If you let California Pools build a pool for you, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with California Pools. We went from an all-dirt yard to having a pool, beautiful decking, water feature, plants, and grass! The whole project took about 7 weeks, and we were quoted that the time frame would be 6-8. Everything went smoothly and Cindy was an absolute pleasure to work with for scheduling. She responded to all questions very promptly and in detail. DJ was our initial contact and Chuck was our superintendent. Everything was much easier than expected given that we both work full-time and were rarely at home when any work was going on. Our ONLY complaint was that we paid for a temporary "fence" for our dogs to basically have a dog run while the work was going on and while we were not home. This "fence" was a roll of orange plastic that would be used to keep people from accessing a construction site... in other words, not meant to keep two 60ish pound dogs confined. We ended up rigging up our own fairly sturdy fence, so it was not a huge deal in the end. Overall we could not be happier and we are loving our new yard!

Pool/yard project just wrapped up today! Could not be happier with the process and service we received from Cal Pools. After getting multiple bids, we were won over by the straight forward pricing as well as the ease of design by Doug. Once the project officially got underway, Ted and Sara were in constant communication and responded to every question timely and professionally. Ted was on site almost every week to check the progress and to discuss next steps. So happy that our yard is completed and we are ready to enjoy the pool this summer. Cal Pools far exceeded our expectations and their staff was all amazing through the entire process!

In an industry that's rife with companies that lack integrity, reliability, and the resources to deliver on time (or at all in some cases), California Pools and Landscaping is the gold standard for making things happen. My hat's off to their designer Cory Blackwell, superintendent Kevin Everhart, and Construction Coordinator Leann Madar in taking our vision of a backyard oasis and making it a reality that exceeded our expectations. From 2D drawings to 3D model to demolition to underground rough-in to the finished product, it was quite the accelerated journey to witness a concept materialize. There were a couple of code challenges that popped up, but CPL was able to intercept and correct the issues to stay on schedule and avoid any red tags by Developmental Services. I've been in construction for 40 years and counting, and I have yet to see a project go without a snag, but in my opinion, working with CPL is the best choice in ensuring the job is done as seamlessly as possible. Great management team that raised the bar for customer service--they were extremely professional and responsive. When they schedule work to get done, it gets done...and we're talking high speed, low drag, folks. The workmanship from the travertine pavers to the pebble finish of the pool was flawless and beautiful, and the scope of work was completed impressively fast. As I first mentioned, there are a lot of companies out there trying to sell their ability to do the work you want, but do your research, do a deep dive on reviews, and check the BBB if there are any complaints filed against them. There are too many flakes and hacks in the valley that claim to be pool contractors, so do yourself and your dream project a favor and do your homework. In my humble opinion, California Pools and Landscaping stands head-and-shoulders above the rabble. They're not cheap, but A++ results speaks for itself. My name is Ajax, and I endorse this review.

After obtaining 3 quotes from various pool companies, we decided on California Pools. This was a very easy decision. From the first time we met with Brian Rau in Sales, until our pool was completed, they went above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction. Rebecca Schulte in Scheduling was our main point of contact once the process started. She was phenomenal! She was friendly and engaging, and kept us informed about everything related to our project. She is the best! Jeremiah Price, our Construction Manager, was awesome too. At times it seemed he was out here almost daily to ensure the construction crews met California Pools high expectations. He took a personal interest in our project and we are grateful for his expertise. We are very glad we decided on California Pools!

I would like to explain why we are extremely happy with California Pools. We realize this has been a very difficult and frustrating time to have a pool installed due to COVID and all the supply chain delays for materials, which is not the fault of California Pools. Our lives were changed with COVID and many homeowners decided not to travel and spend more leisure time at home, thus the demand for pools has increased. This means an increased demand for workers and materials, which is a nationwide problem not just isolated to the Phoenix area. Robby Stubbs has been fantastic to work with from the planning and design of our pool to the follow-up when I had a few questions. One of the most critical factors in building a pool is the design, which is unique to each client. Robby did a great job in listening to our wants and needs in the design and helping us make all the necessary selections. California Pools has a Customer Portal app, which no other pool company has, where you can track your pool construction schedule and easily communicate with your scheduling representative. When there is a new post in your portal you get a text message to check the portal. There are so many different steps involved in pool construction it's helpful to understand the whole process. This has been amazing, to easily tract the work schedule and timeline without having to call and wait for return phone calls or be wondering what's next and when will it happen. The construction schedule is fluid and dates do change and steps need to be completed before the next steps can get scheduled. Rhiannon is my scheduling representative is a real pleasure to work with and responds to messages quickly. California Pools gets an A+ on communication which is so critical during this long process. All the different work crews that have been working on my pool have been extremely professional, courteous and efficient in completing their tasks.

Our project is finally completed with A few minor adjustments here and there to be finalized pretty soon. thanks to California pools and landscape I want to specially thank Scott who was not only our designer but also helped us through the whole process he always had an answer for us to all of our questions or concerns and if he didn't know the answer he would reach out to the person in charge and for that specific answer, Sarah was our main point of contact regarding scheduling through the whole process she was the most pleasure to work with and always assisted with any questions or concerns even when she was out of the office. For the most part everybody works as a team but I honestly can't say enough about Scott and Sarah very glad we built our pool with them! With any construction projects there's always some hiccups but California pools were the very best and everything continues to be taken care of they truly stand by their name in everything they say they will do. Thank you all!

CalPools is amazing; stop looking now if you're contemplating a pool and talk with CP. From the onset, they were professional, helped us understand all the details and addressed every question and concern. Cliff was great on the design phase and the entire team was on time and informative. Special kudos to Gabe! His vast knowledge was apparent during orientation and did a wonderful job helping us learn our new pool and spa. CP is the best.

California pools and Landscape did a great job with our pool and hardscape. The final product is even better than we had hoped for. Marissa, the construction coordinator and Adam, the site Superintendent made sure that the construction stayed on schedule and they kept us informed during every step of the process.

Great coordination and communication especially from the site manager Pete B. and scheduler Sarese S. for without them, this project will be greatly delayed and just plain vanilla. Both are very responsive to changes that provided us the peace of mind and the satisfactory feeling knowing that our project is in good hands. Enjoyed the experience and of course now dipping in the pool and playing on the putting green!

We redid our ENTIRE yard with California Pools last spring. We were a little cautious when selecting such a large pool company. We were afraid we'd get lost in the mix. Let me just say, that could'nt be farther from the truth! We were able to reach someone immediately, including weekends! They went above and beyond and gave us OUTSTANDING attention from start to finish. Even after our project was complete we have still contacted them and have always had any questions/concerns answered immediately! Our backyard was transformed into an outdoor oasis for our family and meets the needs of our pets, small children and my husband and I. Customer service was top notch with every person we dealt with! We would do business with them again and again and will always refer California Pools so anyone! We just wish customer service were like this everywhere, beacause it's rare to find these days! We consider them friends and felt cared for from start to finish and beyond!

California Pools are the pros in the Valley. Specifically, Robert Lory (project manager) and Rebecca Schulte (scheduler) were most helpful building our pool/spa. Even during the pandemic, they were always in touch, letting us know the status and of any potential delays. If you want to build a pool and/or spa, give California Pools a call, they will treat you well!

I also posted a review to the California Pool's Chandler location, but am also posting here as Scottsdale is our closest location. As we had hoped, the end result is stunning, and has made the process worth it. Please see the attached photos. After multiple delays in the construction timeline, we expressed our concerns and frustrations to California Pools, and they responded by assigning a team to ensure that they delivered on our vision of the backyard. Not everything was perfect--construction never is--but we received timely communications and resolutions. Above all else, California Pools was focused on the quality and longevity of the end product, even if items had to be redone. A big thanks to Jeremiah, Marissa, and Scott N. (and others along the way) for their commitment and professionalism with tough circumstances. If I take an honest look at the last several years, I would say that it was a complex project starting in a complex time (COVID). Labor and supply shortages brought challenges, and neither party expected the timeline to stretch as long as it did. In the end, California Pools righted the ship and delivered.
