2020 has been one for the record books! The challenges of this year have impacted people around the globe. We have felt that impact especially in our state, cities, local communities, and industry. Incredibly, we have been able to maintain our commitment to helping people transform their backyards into a personal refuge – which is more important now than ever.
Since the spring, we have seen unprecedented demand to create peaceful backyards for our clients. This year has indeed been the “year of the staycation.” With many of us spending so much more time at home, making our backyards beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing has become essential.
We couldn’t be more honored and grateful for all the projects we completed this year. It’s been a joy to help our clients turn their backyards into sanctuaries where they could get a reprieve from all the stress 2020 had to offer. We are incredibly proud of how our team rose to the occasion and navigated these new waters to get as many customers swimming as possible.
Thinking About a Backyard Project?
If you are considering a new pool or backyard upgrade and you would like to be swimming by next summer, our advice is to start now!
Because of the demands of the current environment, the pool building process looks different now than it did at the beginning of 2020—it even looks different from just a few months ago! We are here to work hard for you and deliver your project as efficiently and safely as possible, with the same high quality you have come to expect from California Pools & Landscape.
California Pools & Landscape sets proper expectations and offers excellent communication to our customers through the MyCPL Portal. We are honest about what you can expect and then deliver on those expectations.
What to Expect for Your Project
Our pool building and backyard remodel process is taking a little longer than usual because of current conditions. Here is what you can expect for your pool or backyard project this year:
- To maintain safety standards, scheduling consultations with our designers is taking a little longer than usual. Limitations in our design centers have required us to scatter appointment times and space out our typical schedule.
- Once we start the planning process for your project, the permitting process may take a bit longer because of the city’s current processing times as they adjust to work-at-home conditions.
- Our construction process runs about 3-5 weeks longer than pre-covid conditions due to supply chain disruptions and additional safety protocols with our crews and trade partners.
In good times and bad, we are committed to building you an awe-inspiring project and giving you the California Pools experience in which our reputation is built. You can count on us to help transform your outdoor space into the sanctuary you crave!
If you are thinking about building a project for next summer, we are here to help you navigate the process with ease and help you make your backyard dream a reality.
